Topic: IG registry link in the spec broken?

view this post on Zulip Stefan Lang (Sep 12 2019 at 12:33):

When I click on the "Implementation Guide Registry" link at the bottom of http://www.hl7.org/fhir/index.html
my browser gets redirected to http://fhir-org.fhir-ehws.net.au/guides/registry/ which is a "server not found".
Some server problem, @Grahame Grieve ?

it's a server problem and it's killing me.

view this post on Zulip Patrick Werner (Sep 12 2019 at 14:04):

@Stefan Lang you can finde them here: https://www.fhir.org/guides/registry/

view this post on Zulip Stefan Lang (Sep 12 2019 at 14:05):

I know, but I still think the link in the spec should work :-)

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 12 2019 at 14:06):

I think so too. But the server doesn't think it should work, and no one can figure out why

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 12 2019 at 14:06):

we're trying to find some resources to move to a new server that is more supportable...

view this post on Zulip Stefan Lang (Sep 12 2019 at 14:08):

Maybe some weird proxy in the way?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 12 2019 at 14:08):

no it's in the server. a request to http://server/folder will be redirected to http://server/folder/ - that's totally standard.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 12 2019 at 14:09):

but this server, for reason known only to itself, issues an redirect to some other server. No one knows why, and the other server it redirects to is not anywhere in it's configuration. So we're ata loss, and the hosting service provider simply says that it's not their problem

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 12 2019 at 14:10):

we need to move it to a standard LAMP server in a cloud that we actually manage rather than being at the end of a long chain of support redirections. but that requires resources....

view this post on Zulip Patrick Werner (Sep 12 2019 at 14:16):

resources for moving, or resources for the server?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 12 2019 at 14:21):

moving. I can stick up a LAMP server in a VM no problem

view this post on Zulip Stefan Lang (Sep 12 2019 at 18:36):

Resources for moving is an issue ...

Meanwhile for the current server: did you check /etc/hosts and maybe even /etc/hostname ?
Or grep the whole /etc for the ...fhir-ewts... thing?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 12 2019 at 19:21):

I don't have access to something like that

view this post on Zulip Stefan Lang (Sep 12 2019 at 20:10):

Oh - that's indeed a reason to switch servers
