My question is: are health checks mandatory for Azure Healthcare API for FHIR ? And in what kind of environment we must use this ? As you know Microsoft is charging every api call so around 86K calls are going for only health checks and cost is around $45. Is it recommended to use?

Hi Saad - We don't charge for API calls specifically in the Azure API for FHIR, you can see more on the pricing model here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/azure-api-for-fhir/. If you have additional questions on your specific bill, I'd recommend opening a support ticket from the portal so we can review your account and direct you in the right way.
