I have been reviewing the data elements and descriptions for FHIR Medication Request. I have 'created' some new data descriptions for those that I couldn't find on the FHIR website. Thanks for your analysis John. I am sure the mappings that you suggest are correct but I am not an HL7 v2 specialist. Accurate mapping tables between HL7 v2 message descriptions/codes and FHIR message descriptions/codes are obviously very important to get right. Will the HL7 FHIR clinical specialist teams (e.g. Pharmacy) be responsible for QC/checking these important mapping tables? Thanks

Andrew, I also updated some of the FHIR MedicationRequest property names too; check those out to see if they make sense.
