There is a v2-to-FHIR project but we haven't tackled DFT yet. General details are available at https://confluence.hl7.org/display/OO/2-To-FHIR+Project or on the v2-to-FHIR Zulip stream. We're in the process of mapping some of the DFT segments (PID, PV1, etc) but haven't gotten to all of them yet. If you're working on a DFT transformation we'd happily take your input and add it to the larger project.

I'm not much use for the input but would be happy to test on large volumes of DFT message (both batch and individual)

@Craig Newman I have done mapping of FT1 with ChargeItem when FT1-6 == "CG" (Charge).
However, in case of other values in FT1-6 i.e. (Credit, Payment, Co-payment etc), I don't find it relevant to use ChargeItem resource.
Request your feedback on this if that's correct understanding.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about FT1 (or financial transactions in general). There if a Financial stream that might have the expertise you need.
