where does one sign up for track(s) for the HL7 Connectathon in Baltimore next month?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 02 2016 at 21:12):

I think we haven't set that up yet

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 03 2016 at 01:35):

@David Hay ? :)

view this post on Zulip David Hay (Aug 03 2016 at 05:00):

well, you have to register with HL7 of course - then the spreadsheet is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rrz8yqkG5gHhSEzUvZxP-6_CCFr_6F0FUElFRGmObyw/edit

for patient track at connectathon is STU2 support sufficient? Or are there changes to Patient resource in current build? thanks

view this post on Zulip Aleksandra Pavlyshina (Sep 06 2016 at 16:11):

Changes to Patient resource since DSTU2 - http://hl7-fhir.github.io/patient.html#resource - R2 Diff tab

thanks @Aleksandra Pavlyshina

also, changes the RESTful API - the main relevant one is the change to the mime type

Hi, I attended the connectathon (Genomics group), I was wondering if the slides/video of the results (last part of Sunday's session) are going to be published?

view this post on Zulip David Hay (Sep 22 2016 at 12:25):

I'm sorry - that's a task on me and I've been a bit sluggish...

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Sep 22 2016 at 12:36):

HQ is working on getting the video up. (90+MB :))

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Sep 22 2016 at 14:37):

The video of the presentations has now been posted. You can find it here: https://www.pathlms.com/hl7/courses/3390
The coupon code to watch it for free is: i0jgbfwdoi

I haven't watched it, so no promises on video/audio quality

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (Sep 22 2016 at 15:13):

The code does work... Im watching it... Streaming or download mp4. Video is good quality, audio is just about useless.

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (Sep 22 2016 at 15:20):

Audio is good sometimes. Good at minute 20 when Cerner presents. again good at the Patch presentation.

Well worth every penny paid... Thanks for the upload and the coupon code... and beggars can't be choosers.

@David Hay and @Lloyd McKenzie , thank you!

Hi Guys - have uploaded the reports for some of the tracks (payer extract, genomics & provider directories) to slideshare, and then provided a link to them from the track proposals (The report link is directly after the name of the track lead).

Could I ask that the other track leads do the same with their reports? (or - just embed the report into the proposal if that's all that's required).

cheers...

view this post on Zulip Marla Albitz (Sep 26 2016 at 19:32):

David Hay, what and where is 'slideshare'?, nevermind, I see you posted the link.

view this post on Zulip David Hay (Sep 29 2016 at 02:26):

Hi Guys,

As you may be aware, our connectathons are organized into tracks, each of which has a coordinator responsible for the smooth running of the track.

I'm generally responsible for the patient track, but won't be at the WGM in January, so we (FMG) are seeking interest from people wanting to take on that role in January.

The following link (http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=201609_Patient_Track_Proposal ) has a description of the track, along with a link to the responsibilities of the track co-ordinator.

We're imagining that the role would suit someone who has been to a couple (or more) connectathon in the past, is familiar with FHIR and is looking to get more involved with the running of the event.

If you're interested - then let me know via this channel - or by email (david.hay25@gmail.com) so we can choose a victim - sorry, successor - at the FMG meeting next week.

cheers...

David, you can throw my name into the hat. I would be happy to help out as the coordinator for the patient track. Thanks.

David, I sent you a separate email response and this is to confirm that I am interested in helping out as the Patient Testing Track lead. Thanks.
