Topic: GitFlavoredMarkdown does allow Raw HTML
Michael Faughn (Oct 02 2019 at 18:59):
I noticed that there is a note in a bullet point in on the Data Types page that asserts that "GFM prohibits Raw HTML". This is inaccurate. GFM does allow the inclusion of raw HTML and has an extension that prohibits the use a particular set of HTML tags. Is it the intention that the markdown data type does prohibit all raw HTML or simply that the FHIR markdown type adhere to GFM?

Grahame Grieve (Oct 02 2019 at 19:09):
hmm. It is certainly meant to mean 'no raw html'
Lloyd McKenzie (Oct 02 2019 at 19:10):
Do we need a change request?
Grahame Grieve (Oct 02 2019 at 19:16):
I think we do
Lloyd McKenzie (Oct 02 2019 at 19:33):
@Michael Faughn, can you use the 'propose a change' link at the bottom of the FHIR spec to request that this be clarified? (You can include a link to this stream.)
