Today MnM considered GF#12881, a question about the correct use for Timing.repeat.count, and how it interacts with Frequency. Quoting from the task:

"I think this should be more clear in the description of Timing.repeat.count and there should be an example in the table that shows whether/how count should work with frequency/period"

MnM agreed that yes, it should be clear. but we don't know which of the 2 options described in the task should be correct. Again, quoting:

"(e.g. "twice daily for 5 days") then would the count be 5 or 10?"

we are seeking implementer comment on this. Who is using Timing.repeat.count now, and how do you use it?

Note that AFAIK, there is no previous art on this element to consider - it didn't exist in v2 or v3.

I vote for count of events (count=10), so it has the same meaning whether or not there are periods.

Which, if applied for meds, would essentially be stating #doses, if I'm translating correctly.

Which seems correct.

or, at least, understandable/easy to implement.

+1 we do currently use timing.repeat.count for the total number of doses.
