@Michel Rutten Hi,I open a file in forge tool and i made some changes. While i was saving my file it cant be saved or closed.please tell me how to resolve it.Thank You
Giorgio Cangioli (Mar 07 2018 at 11:50):
Same issue, already reported :-). As temporary workaroud If you use "save as" and you overwrite the file you are sure to save the latest version, but the "star" icon that says that the file has been changed remain active....
Mounika (Mar 07 2018 at 11:55):
I am also getting same isssue in forge tool while saving my profile.
Giorgio Cangioli (Mar 07 2018 at 11:56):
I had also some problems with existing extensions , and remving and readding exactly the same extensions the warning message disappeared from the profile....But I hope there is some more cleaver way to resolve the problem :-)
Michel Rutten (Mar 07 2018 at 12:00):
Hi all, thank you for reporting the issue, we are investigating.
Michel Rutten (Mar 07 2018 at 14:52):
Looks like the Save issue is related to the configuration option "Save snapshot component".
If enabled, the star icon does not disappear after save.
Michel Rutten (Mar 07 2018 at 14:52):
So as a workaround, you can temporarily toggle this setting.
Michel Rutten (Mar 07 2018 at 14:52):
We will publish a hotfix ASAP.
Giorgio Cangioli (Mar 07 2018 at 14:53):
have you not already published the fix ?
Giorgio Cangioli (Mar 07 2018 at 14:54):
This afternoon I don't experence this issue anymore ...
Giorgio Cangioli (Mar 07 2018 at 14:54):
if not this is weird...
Michel Rutten (Mar 07 2018 at 15:09):
@Giorgio Cangioli No, we have identified the cause of the issue and are now working on a fix. I expect to publish an update tomorrow.
Giorgio Cangioli (Mar 07 2018 at 15:19):
OK, the only explanation is that I disabled that option involontary when i used it ..... Thanks for fixing it.
