@Paul Knapp - do you know what resource you'd expect to represent adjustments like write offs and discounts? Would you consider that a PaymentNotice that is not-actually-a-payment?

@Cooper Thompson No, not PaymentNotice because it isn't provide payment details (it isn't a payment instrument) it just tells you something about a payment instrument (it's been sent, it has arrived, etc. We don't have a resource to do 'GL type' adjustments to accounts.

@Cooper Thompson Not PaymentNotice as that is to notify that the actual payment as been received, typically to a regulator or other body which is monitoring payment timing. The new FinancialTransaction we are working on could accommodate those.
