Hi, all. I am working towards making a tool to get Clinical Research Data into FHIR. And in this exploring options and tools to make relational/csv/flat files converted to FHIR. I am aware of the Firely Mapper, but it's a paid tool. Are there similar open-sourced / free licensing options available? Or anyone working towards making one.Looking forward to any leads.

Hi @Ananya Choudhury, there's a few implementations of the FHIR Mapping Language, besides the one by Firely: https://confluence.hl7.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=76158820#UsingtheFHIRMappingLanguage-MappingEngineImplementations
As I understand it, they generally work with modelling your source data model (which could be a CSV file) in FHIR logical models, converting your own data in any way to XML/JSON representations conforming to that and next using the mapping language to perform the conversion.
I'm not sure if @David Hay would have an update to his blog post on this: https://fhirblog.com/2019/03/25/importing-csv-data-into-a-fhir-server/
Would #bulk data import be an option for this already?

Hi @Rashed omar - please create a new Topic if your question is not related to any of the ongoing/historic discussions. Your question seems entirely unrelated to the subject at hand: "FHIRConverter".

@Rashed omar - suggest you take a look at the #storage for FHIR steam
