Rough timelines are: "For comment" ballot opening in December 2017, STU ballot opening in April 2018. Reconciliation completed and final publication sometime Q4 2018. Official description of the timeline is here: https://onfhir.hl7.org/2017/01/20/fhir-product-roadmap/

As always, these are "planned" timelines. Realities may be shifted by committee workload and ballot feedback.
