For the ExplanationOfBenefit.outcome, the codes in the value set have a ‘required’ binding and are limited to ‘complete’, ‘error’ or ‘partial’. In our system, we have status codes that indicate the claim has been received but hasn’t been accepted for adjudication. While the ‘partial’ code is our closest option, it’s not the most favorable one as it states in the definition “…some of the adjudication has been performed.” Would it be possible to get a value added that indicates acknowledgement or receipt of a claim?
