Joel Solymosi (Mar 11 2019 at 23:41):
Does EPIC's FHIR API implements writing data back via FHIR?
Michele Mottini (Mar 11 2019 at 23:43):
No. Or at least: not the open API, not sure about AppOrchard
Joel Solymosi (Mar 11 2019 at 23:46):
So, the only way to write data back to EPIC is via HL7 / epic bridge? or is there any other way to write eg encounter notes?
Michele Mottini (Mar 11 2019 at 23:47):
Sorry, don't know

Isaac Vetter (Mar 12 2019 at 06:03):
Hi Joel, Epic supports update and create for a handful of STU3 resources. Access, documentation, sandboxes, etc., to these resources is currently available through App orchard (as Michelle says).
Brendan Keeler (Mar 12 2019 at 19:26):
@Joel Solymosi this is pretty consistent across EHR vendors (write access being granted within an app program or after a paywall).
