The composite code is included in the Measure Type code system and value set, based on the fact that the original source V3 value sets coded them that way.However, composite is actually a "scoring" concept, not a measure type concept.
There are CQI plans to add the "composite" code to the to the MeasureScoring value set and remove it from the MeasureType value set. Any feedback from implementers to determine if there is downstream impact would be appreciated.
