Topic: DocumentReference - Media - Attachment
Hans Buitendijk (May 20 2019 at 20:31):
At the recent Montreal workgroup meeting we discussed how to proceed with DocumentReference, Attachment data type and Media.
The conclusion was that we believed that it would make sense for the scope of Media to be moved into DocumentReference, while certain attributes of Media would be included in the Attachment data type, and then replace references to Media with DocumentReference if not already referenced.
Before finalizing that approach though, we agreed that we would create a separate branch to enable everybody to review/validate, so mid/late June at the latest, we would finalize that direction and apply it to the latest build (or not).
The branch to review is: http://build.fhir.org/branches/moehrke-DocRef-Media-Merge/
The current target is that we review any feedback and attempt to make that final decision to update the build during the June 18, 2019, 2-3pm EDT OO on FHIR call.

Hi @Hans Buitendijk ,
unfortunately the provided links doesn't seem to work (at least for me) - I get an "404 Not Found" error
John Moehrke (Jun 03 2019 at 15:06):
it was a temporary build, and thus... temporary... @Josh Mandel or @Grahame Grieve is there a way to kick it ?
Josh Mandel (Jun 03 2019 at 18:58):
To trigger a branch build? You can always push a new commit. (We clean these branch previews up after a couple of days; we could cause them to stick around longer.)
John Moehrke (Jun 03 2019 at 19:02):
I suspect this is a special case where it would be nice to keep around for a month... I will poke a change to cause it to re-build.
John Moehrke (Jun 03 2019 at 19:02):
did anyone find a small fix that I could use as that poke?
Grahame Grieve (Jun 04 2019 at 00:43):
just do a whitespace change
Josh Mandel (Jun 04 2019 at 03:51):
(I think 30 days would be a fine default anyway; I'll put that on my todo list for this week.)
John Moehrke (Jun 04 2019 at 15:07):
sorry for the delay. I poked the build with a whitespace change. about 2 hours ago, but still don't see the build
John Moehrke (Jun 07 2019 at 15:37):
The prototype build is available again for review. It is at a different URL http://build.fhir.org/branches/moehrke-docRef/
Halina Labikova (Jul 22 2019 at 16:33):
@John Moehrke any chance you could make the prototype build accessible again? Also, where could I find the tracker for this?
John Moehrke (Jul 30 2019 at 17:54):
@Hans Buitendijk @Grahame Grieve what is the status of approval of this branch? maintaining this as a branch is alot of overhead
Grahame Grieve (Jul 30 2019 at 19:44):
not anything to do with me as far as I know
John Moehrke (Jul 30 2019 at 19:52):
I am just looking for where this is. Unfortunately it is a task that is being bounced between many workgroups, so I worry it has fallen between the cracks.
