DiagnosticReport is of type DomainResource, which means it inherits all the attributes from DomainResource including contained.

the Doc of Domain Resource says

so this means all the resource could be domain resource right ?

If you look at the following structure fromhttp://build.fhir.org/diagnosticreport.html you will see the type of the resource (pointed at by the arrow) and the inherited attributes (I have put a box around contained).
