Topic: Default search parameter format for resources

I know FHIR allows search by reference to include URL, ResourceType/id or just plain id for many of the query parameters. Has anyone had challenges where servers accepted one or the other format for ResourceType/id or id, but not the other? Which of these formats do you see more often in the field?

The naked ID (that means that you have to use <parameeter>:type=<id> for parameters referencing different types)
