I just tried to login into JIRA, without success. Tried to reset my password and then got an error msg that the auth backend is not online.

@Grahame Grieve Yes there was. There are two separate issues between two servers over the last 2 days. It's unacceptable as it sits and we're working on the remedy. Currently Jira is back up and I'm monitoring. Thank you for your patience on this. We'll have an update soon for the final fix.

Are others able to log in now? I am getting an error that my password is wrong, which it shouldn't be since I use a password mamager to remember it. I've tried resetting it twice now and it has accepted a new password each time but then when I immediately try to use that password it says it's wrong and won't let me log in.

@James Agnew please clear your cache for all Jira/Confluence related cookies and retry. The site is up and Identity access is working.

@Joshua Procious hmm weird, no luck. I cleared all cookies and cache and tried logging in again but it's still not accepting my password. Don't suppose there is anything weird about my account? (username jamesagnew)

Hmm I see a few failed login attempts. I've cleared the cache on your account and the Captcha.
