Topic: Current Build Changes
Grahame Grieve (Jul 13 2016 at 13:40):
In preparation for the ballot in a few weeks time, I've just committed a change to the home page that introduces a new aspect to the specification, a module based view of the content. You'll find it rather obvious... but it's a work in progress, and navigation around the specification will be a little impaired for the next little while.. sorry

Are the icons on the screen just placeholders or proposals? If the latter... might be good to find something non-blurry (higher res, or scalable vector graphics). flaticon.com is pretty good for this. Some B&W examples
Grahame Grieve (Jul 17 2016 at 07:37):
they're working drafts. You're welcome to find better graphics - be my guest
Grahame Grieve (Jul 17 2016 at 07:39):
btw, transparent would be good.
Josh Mandel (Jul 18 2016 at 05:16):
OK, the set above is zipped up in my-icons-collection.zip .
Josh Mandel (Jul 18 2016 at 05:18):
These include SVG and PNG with transparent backgrounds.
Grahame Grieve (Jul 18 2016 at 05:44):
I really don't like black and white...
Josh Mandel (Jul 18 2016 at 05:44):
OK -- just would be good to have something consistent-looking across the overview table.
Grahame Grieve (Jul 18 2016 at 05:46):
sure. but I don't think those icons represent and improvement
Josh Mandel (Jul 18 2016 at 05:53):
Some more icon choices with more colors at fhir-y-icons.zip
picked from http://flaticon.com
Josh Mandel (Jul 18 2016 at 05:54):
Do we have someone in the community who'd be interested in doing some design consulting?
Josh Mandel (Jul 18 2016 at 05:54):
Or we could bring someone on to help with this.
Josh Mandel (Jul 18 2016 at 05:54):
It sure shouldn't be me ;-)
Grahame Grieve (Jul 18 2016 at 05:56):
there might be someone. I'll ask him
Josh Mandel (Jul 19 2016 at 00:07):
FYI some spacing/margin fixes to the modules box at https://codepen.io/anon/pen/KrQkzz -- if these look right (and if you want) I can apply them to the build.
Grahame Grieve (Jul 19 2016 at 00:12):
I don't know if it's something in my browser but that looks like a big step backwards. Also, Pascal is maintaining the layout for me - can you yalk to him?
Josh Mandel (Jul 19 2016 at 00:14):
Oh, great -- will talk to @Pascal Pfiffner ! What browser are you using that you see misalignment?
Grahame Grieve (Jul 19 2016 at 00:16):
chrome. will send you the screentshot. It looks... complete fail, I think.
Josh Mandel (Jul 19 2016 at 00:16):
Haha, screenshot would be great! Thanks.
Josh Mandel (Jul 19 2016 at 00:17):
Just to be clear, I'm not talking colors/fonts -- just alignment/margins
Grahame Grieve (Jul 19 2016 at 00:19):
ok. though there's something weird going on. On my computer, it renders perfectly, but on the current build, it's wrong.
Grahame Grieve (Jul 19 2016 at 00:19):
I have to do some troubleshooting as to why
Josh Mandel (Jul 19 2016 at 00:19):
OK. I see stuff like pasted image
Grahame Grieve (Jul 19 2016 at 00:20):
right. on my local build, it's perfect. and we don't know why
Grahame Grieve (Jul 19 2016 at 00:20):
it's on my list to get to it
Josh Mandel (Jul 19 2016 at 00:20):
ok -- well, let me know if I can help somehow!
Josh Mandel (Jul 19 2016 at 00:20):
The CSS on that codepen link was my best take on what I expected to see.

Grahame Grieve (Jul 19 2016 at 00:21):
That's what I get locally. Pascal might suggest something
Josh Mandel (Jul 19 2016 at 00:22):
Great -- that looks more like what I'm expecting!
Grahame Grieve (Jul 19 2016 at 00:22):
yes
Richard Kavanagh (Jul 19 2016 at 11:05):
Looks like you might have this fixed now. But if you remove the css as below the alignment seems to work fine.pasted image
