Topic: Conditions types-FHIR spec
Lital Inghel (Oct 07 2021 at 05:52):
hi
posted before and it disappeared, so re-posting
our product holds under conditions domain these types:
condition,
problem,
socialHistory,
functionalStatus,
cognitiveStatus,
chiefComplaint,
diagnosis,
reaction
is there a FHIR expectation (certification wise) to output only specific types under conditions resource (US core)?
thanks!

Some of these have other homes in FHIR, but not necessarily exclusively. For example, you'll want to review
- Observation with a category of "social-history" and "exam" (for what you labeled as "socialHistory" and "cognitiveStatus")
- AllergyIntolerance (for what you labeled as "reaction")
In some cases, if you're observing something and tracking it on a problem list, FHIR would say that you may need two resources represent it (I'm curious how common this is in practice).
