For the ClinicalImpression resource, I am trying to understand how a body of evidence (e.g. a DiagnosticReport containing radiology notes) is referenced. I see both investigation > item and supportingInfo, but I am not sure in what cases they are applicable. Is there a rule of thumb or guidelines around which one is used when referencing evidence in an impression?

It looks like the 'investigation' element has been dropped in R5. @Michelle (Moseman) Miller ?

Sweet, thanks for pointing that out. This may be a dumb question, but when creating a condition based off of a clinicalimpression, I see that there is a finding->item element and condition also has evidence->detail, is it normal to make these both references to each other?

Finding is what you determined as part of the ClinicalImpression. Evidence is what you used to make those determinations
