Topic: Case sensitivity of Resource IDs

I was looking at the JSON schema, and saw this, for the "id" type in the json schema: "Ids are case-insensitive." The spec for the "id" datatype (https://www.hl7.org/fhir/datatypes.html#id) does not mention anything about case-insensitivity. Should the comment in the json schema be ignored?

I have yet to see a real-world system that treats resource IDs as case insensitive. That sounds like an error in the JSON schema to me...

Further down in the "notes" of the datatype section it specifically says "About the id datatype: Ids are case sensitive." That sounds definitive.
