Can someone explain me how a bed can be a location.physicalType?

Ain't it more a bedPlace?

view this post on Zulip Jens Villadsen (May 27 2016 at 09:31):

the same goes for Vehicle

view this post on Zulip Jens Villadsen (May 27 2016 at 09:31):

both entities are mostly known not to be of static character

well I guess bed refers to "the spot the bed sits" - ie the bricks and mortar rather than the metal trolley on wheels

view this post on Zulip Jens Villadsen (May 27 2016 at 21:21):

so its a bedplace

@Erich Schulz it makes a lot of difference when you are eg. doing tracking

view this post on Zulip Jens Villadsen (May 27 2016 at 21:23):

it makes no sense to track a bedplace

view this post on Zulip Jens Villadsen (May 27 2016 at 21:23):

whereas it does make sense to track a bed

@Brian Postlethwaite - marking this for your attention once you resurface

A location doesn't have to be a static place. For example a mobile clinic can be a location, even though it's not always in the same place.
You could model each "trolley" as a physical thing, and then you could update it's co-ords within the facility if desired.
Or you could map the 5 "beds" that are in a room, and not be specific about the actual physical device.

This isn't a simple situation here, and is complicated with the Organization structures too.
