Argonaut defines a set of profiles of the FHIR specification.

The FHIR Specification is international in scope. Argonaut constrains FHIR for on U.S.-specific implementation for human patients and focuses on the needs of clinical sharing for primary care EHRs (rather than public health, research and other use-cases)
