Are these two projects the same thing? Or are they different. I thought I read somewhere online that they were effectively the same, but can't find that article now.

Argonaut and DaVinci are both HL7 Accelerator Programs (among others).
Functionally they have similar goals (advancing standards and adoption), but they are different organizations with different approaches, policies, and membership. Depending on which projects either is working on at a given time there may be little or a lot of overlap in concerns.
Do you have a specific question about them, or just looking at the landscape and wondering what things are?

In General, Da Vinci is focusing on supporting the Payor community and Argonaut is focusing on supporting the EHR Community. Obviously there is a lot of overlap in their work, but the customer needs are somewhat different.
