Hi,
As per US Core IG 4.0.0 - STU4 Release (http://hl7.org/fhir/us/core/structuredefinition-us-core-allergyintolerance.html)
If a patient has not been asked about their allergies, this would be represented as:
AllergyIntolerance.code = “1631000175102”
AllergyIntolerance.verificationStatus = “unconfirmed”
I was wondering what could be the AllergyIntolerance.clinicalStatus for this scenario as AllergyIntoleranceClinicalStatusCodes doesn't have a mapping for this scenario. Can we suppress the coding element and send it as AllergyIntolerance.clinicalStatus.text ?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

active because the "unconfirmed allergy" is what the subject is currently experiencing
