What is the best way to represent acute versus chronic problems in FHIR? Of course it might be possible to implicitly derive this from the Condition (.code) itself. However, if you would like to explicitly indicate this, should you then use Condition.category (or perhaps .severity), or is there a better way to do it?

Condition.category is appropriate.
