To which resource would information normally found in an ACC (Accident) segment go? These are normally found in Account (BAR) messages in V2.

@Paul Knapp ?

@Keith Boone @Lloyd McKenzie Don't know. There is an area for accident information on the Claim resource, but none currently associated with the Account resource, I'll check with the v2 co-chairs.

Claim.accident works for me, but there may be a place for this elsewhere.

Where does the Information that goes into Claim.accident go come from? It would have to be captured somewhere earlier, so that you can know how to populate Claim.acccident upon creation. I would expect the information to live maybe as additional Information on a Coverage that has a type of "AUTOPOL/COL..." and/or subrogation set to "true"...?

I believe this goes into the supportingInfo area on the Claim in R4 @Paul Knapp could you confirm?

view this post on Zulip Simone Heckmann (Jan 15 2019 at 01:10):

Hold on, Claim happens at the end of the clinical workflow whereas information about the accident is captured at the beginning. So my question is: where do I put it in the meantime?

The real question is what resource does the supportingInfo point at?
