Keith Boone (Jan 02 2019 at 21:06):
To which resource would information normally found in an ACC (Accident) segment go? These are normally found in Account (BAR) messages in V2.
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 02 2019 at 21:50):
@Paul Knapp ?
Paul Knapp (Jan 02 2019 at 22:01):
@Keith Boone @Lloyd McKenzie Don't know. There is an area for accident information on the Claim resource, but none currently associated with the Account resource, I'll check with the v2 co-chairs.
Keith Boone (Jan 03 2019 at 00:04):
Claim.accident works for me, but there may be a place for this elsewhere.
Simone Heckmann (Jan 14 2019 at 21:11):
Where does the Information that goes into Claim.accident go come from? It would have to be captured somewhere earlier, so that you can know how to populate Claim.acccident upon creation. I would expect the information to live maybe as additional Information on a Coverage that has a type of "AUTOPOL/COL..." and/or subrogation set to "true"...?
Andy Stechishin (Jan 14 2019 at 22:52):
I believe this goes into the supportingInfo area on the Claim in R4 @Paul Knapp could you confirm?
Simone Heckmann (Jan 15 2019 at 01:10):
Hold on, Claim happens at the end of the clinical workflow whereas information about the accident is captured at the beginning. So my question is: where do I put it in the meantime?
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 15 2019 at 01:30):
The real question is what resource does the supportingInfo point at?
