Topic: add invariant to extension

What's the mechanism for adding an invariant to an extension? Would I add an Invariants tab to an extension spreadsheet (and would it work if I did)? Or is there another way that I've so far missed seeing?

I think there's an example for invariants, but it would extension-invariants
