On the CanonicalResource page, most of the descriptions contain text like:
Business version of the {{title}}
Is {{title}} supposed to be replaced with the name of the resource (CanonicalResource), or is the current rendering intentional?

Current rendering is correct. Instantiations of canonical should substitute
