I'm releasing a new validator and publisher that will now be effective at validating profiles on references (it was inconsistent up till now). I'm expecting that there will be knock-on effects. In particular, you may get new errors and warnings in your IGs due to referenced profiles. If you do, please investigate to see if this is a new valid issue that the validator is picking up, or whether it's wrong.

Can you release it for testing, but delay deploying it to CI-Build until we assess the "knock-off effects"?
