Last night, the core team planned out a new IG infrastructure. It's our plan to execute on that over the next few weeks. One consequence of this is that the existing IGs will all need to bre redone - that is, the way they are edited and published needs to change, but not the content

Here's a list of the Implementation Guides, along with the committers I have volunteered to rebuild the guides once the process is ready

OK, I like it. When can I test it and where can I download the JAR file? ;-)

comments welcome from anyone who wants to use Jekyll. It works, now, but it's painful sorting through the source material seperating edited from generated

Question on the build process now that this exists. I'm making some changes to Encounter (and 1 to Patient) that will be breaking and need to update the examples (happy to do it) but wanted to be sure that they are all still included in the build and I'll know that I got them all?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jun 15 2016 at 01:07):

for now, nothing has been moved out of the build. However, if you change DAF examples, can you clone the changes into DAF2 please. If, on the other hand, you have to change the DAF profiles.... that's a different problem

view this post on Zulip Brian Postlethwaite (Jun 15 2016 at 01:08):

I have that problem too. Datatype changed, and another fieldname will change.

code -> Coding

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jun 15 2016 at 01:12):

actually, daf, you just copy the output profiles from publish/daf into DAF2

view this post on Zulip Brian Postlethwaite (Jun 16 2016 at 02:24):

so take the xml/html content from the publish/daf folder and check it into guides/daf2?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jun 16 2016 at 03:00):

just for profiles

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jun 16 2016 at 03:00):

thanks

view this post on Zulip Brian Postlethwaite (Jun 16 2016 at 06:16):

only file I ended up replacing was daf/daf-encounter.profile.xml --> daf2/resoures/daf-encounter.xml
This had the diff for the change that I made, and also now includes all the element ids.

view this post on Zulip Brian Postlethwaite (Jun 16 2016 at 06:16):

Does this sound right?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jun 16 2016 at 06:22):

yes thanks

Hi @Grahame Grieve , I believe I'm going to be the person migrating the CGWG Google Doc IG to an "official" FHIR IG. Could you please point me to all the documentation on how to do this given your new IG infrastructure?

view this post on Zulip Gaston Fiore (Jun 21 2016 at 13:13):

I understand the "official" FHIR IG has to be committed before July 24th. What happens if we miss the deadline? We will have a Google Doc (for example) before then but I'm not completely sure about its migration to the FHIR current build.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jun 21 2016 at 23:01):

the only document there is at the moment is http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=Proposed_new_FHIR_IG_build_Process

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jun 21 2016 at 23:02):

and there is a worked example in \build\guides\daf2 - or see the test example in \build

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jun 21 2016 at 23:02):

in \build\tests\ig
