It's a legal thing to do - whether they're all 'right' is a different question. Making them 1..1 says "If you reference these in a profile you have to make them mandatory". So, for example, if you're going to have a validityPeriod, it can't be an optional thing. Whether that's appropriate or inappropriate may vary. A quick scan suggests some may be fine (or at least intentional), while others are pretty suspect.
