Starting this thread to capture feedback about the R3 develompment process - what worked well, what didn't work so well, what you'd like to see being done differently next time, etc. Everything is free game. In addition to this stream, there's a Google doc you can contribute to and we're also devoting the 3pm Eastern FHIR-I call on Monday the 27th. The FMG will use all feedback provided as we start planning for R4

- the patch process at the end did not work at all. I'll be seeking a different solution to the same problem next time round
- we evidently did not have enough technical QA at the end. Need to be more deliberative about that in advance
- need to adjust the final release process so the internal approval process is clear to everyone

Is this thread visible enough in the committers stream? I only know about it because of Lloyd's email. Will non-committers find it?
