Topic: Can i nest a resource under itself?

Hi. For DeviceComponent (a proposal), I need to say that a Device can have several Components which are other devices.
I see 2 alternatives:
Device...
Component: 0..* Reference (Device)
Component: 0..* @Device

The latter don't work.
In any case, Reference seems a better option, but just for info - is there any way to nest a resource type within itself? It works with elements, but not the resource.

This is not for now, it is just a proposal for building locally and discuss

no you can't do that

you can specify that the reference be contained... but that's probably not a good idea.

Ok. Using reference then.
The "this device contains components" is a definitional thing anyway, so I will put it in the Catalog bucket (or the "Health Products" bucket) , looking for a harmonious way to define an item and its components, whether it is Device, BiologicallyDerivedProduct, Medication, WhateverOtherProduct...
