Topic: 500 server error expanding value sets w/ NDC code system
Frank McKinney (Jun 05 2020 at 16:43):
I'm getting 500 Internal Server Errors during IG publishing, when expanding value sets that include the NDC code system (http://hl7.org/fhir/sid/ndc).
I've tried a few variations and have found that the error occurs when including all codes from the code system, but not when limiting the value set to a specific code (specifying a concept within the ValueSet's include composite). I've attached the request and response for those scenarios, from the qa-tx.html
ndc-expansion-500-error-rtpbc-ig.txt
Is this something I'm causing?
Thanks

The FHIR terminology server seems to be unhappy, so probably not you.
Frank McKinney (Jun 05 2020 at 17:16):
That's what I was wondering. @Grahame Grieve Just letting you know this is occurring
Grahame Grieve (Jun 05 2020 at 20:43):
restarted. try again
Frank McKinney (Jun 08 2020 at 15:16):
Hi Grahame. I updated the publisher and retried. I'm afraid I'm still receiving the 500 error.
I see that the request to the server now has the excludeNested parameter set to 'true', but the error in the response is exactly the same as I was receiving Friday (Access violation at address 0000000000E97189 in module 'FHIRServer.exe'. Read of address 000000000000001C).
Just let me know if there's anything I can do to help troubleshoot.

sure - can you send your txlog.* from the output directory please
Frank McKinney (Jun 08 2020 at 22:54):
Hi Grahame. Here's the qa-tx.html file from the output directory. qa-tx.html
Just let me know if you need anything else
Grahame Grieve (Jun 09 2020 at 23:07):
fixed next time I upgrade tx.fhir.org - thanks
Frank McKinney (Jun 10 2020 at 00:09):
