Jens Villadsen (Jan 19 2020 at 19:56):
Are there any publicly available stats on zulip as a means of showing how active the community is?
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 19 2020 at 20:06):
HTTP://chat.fhir.org/stats
Rik Smithies (Jan 19 2020 at 20:55):
so we recently hit 10000 active users
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 19 2020 at 23:31):
Does anyone know what the criteria is for being 'active' - does it mean that your account has queried the server at least once in the last x months? I'm pretty sure it can't be driven by who's posted in the last X months unless X is very long indeed...
Grahame Grieve (Jan 20 2020 at 01:27):
@Tim Abbott ?
Brendan Keeler (Jan 20 2020 at 07:07):
How neat...Wish it wasn't all the Implementers channel and instead could be better segmented by interest
David Pyke (Jan 20 2020 at 13:28):
According to what I see playing with it, 15 day rolling average shows ~900 active users
Tim Abbott (Jan 22 2020 at 19:46):
@Lloyd McKenzie the "daily" / "2 week" active numbers are based on interacting with a Zulip client connected to the server (e.g. moving the mouse or keyboard with a browser window focused on web).
Tim Abbott (Jan 22 2020 at 19:46):
The "total active users" is just counting users whose accounts have not been deactivated.
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 22 2020 at 19:47):
Thanks Tim
