Intriguing book about information perception and reality modeling in info systems https://www.amazon.com/Data-Reality-Perspective-Perceiving-Information/dp/1935504215

Becoming an expert in data structures is like becoming an expert in sentence structure and grammar. It's not of much value if the thoughts you want to express are all muddled.

This is off to a great start!

For anyone interested in this book, don't feel compelled to buy the latest (third) edition. The core content is gold, and the newer "value added" content (inset italicized notes and cartoons sprinkled throughout, written by another author) is distracting at best (and in places undermines the core content).
