Back at the very beginning of my odyssey, I started pondering the magnitude of the numbers in the US health system. Finding the visualization in this post was a turning point; as it says,
I'm not waiting for the system to reform itself: I think we need to get busy at building our own solutions. The system may well improve, which is fine, but I ain't waitin' for it.
And since then the magnitude of the spending has grown more than 50%.
The importance of building our own solutions is clearer than ever.
