I've gone to two of the last three of the roundtables and really enjoyed meeting the people and seeing what is getting done with FHIR. I just heard that the call for speakers AND registration for the next one is open.

If it's anything like dev days, the sooner the better the better on both, right?

I signed up, and am quite looking forward to it.

There is a great opportunity at the roundtable to present your FHIR solution (in development or deployed). The call for speakers is open until July 31.

Thanks for sharing this information, Patricia. I absolutely adore the roundtables. I've been to two and have enjoyed them immensely. I'm looking forward to seeing who will present at the next one!

The call for FHIR App presenters will stay open through August 15, so still time to apply. It's an excellent opportunity to learn from other presenters and also to show what you've got! The FHIR solution can be in development or deployed.

Do we know when confirmation is going to go out if you've made it into the roundtable? Or is it anybody-who-signs-up?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 06 2018 at 01:37):

I think it will be anybody who signs up this time.

When's the next Application Roundtable after this one? Do we know already?
Thanks.

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 08 2018 at 17:09):

I think they do them annually. I'm not sure anything's officially scheduled yet.

OK, thanks!

Also, those selected to present will be notified by Aug. 31. Let me know if there are more quesitons!

@Patricia Guerra The question was actually when the one after Sept. 2018 will be. Is that scheduled/known yet?

view this post on Zulip Patricia Guerra (Aug 09 2018 at 17:24):

That one is not scheduled yet, thanks for clarifying!

Thanks for the suggestion, Nilesh. It's definitely something to consider. Have you been able to view the past presentations on YouTube?

Hi @David Johnson , no, but I will dig into it. I am new to Chat.FHIR... very encouraging and impressive community of talented professionals. So, glad to be here. Looking for a good podcast that covers FHIR Specs / introduction / profiles / extensions / bundles... thoughts ? Thanks
