Topic: Laptop decals/stickers
Oskar Thunman (Mar 31 2017 at 09:57):
Hi
Has anyone produced FHIR Laptop Stickers for an event? How would one go about doing this in a non-copyright violating way? Found this one, for instance: https://fhir.furore.com/wp-content/themes/fhir/images/fhir.svg
Lloyd McKenzie (Mar 31 2017 at 15:39):
We have a policy around events and products, but the product policy is more aimed at software products (where conformance is relevant) than logowear. Would the stickers be shared in context with an event? If so, the event license should cover you. If you're looking to get into business selling FHIR stickers, then we'd probably need to figure out something special. :)

if you're selling these, or giving them away as part of the marketing for another event, they become a product use of the FHIR trademark - use the standard product page

Can HL7 or FHIR make some such stickers for next connectathon? I really want one for my laptop.
Lloyd McKenzie (Apr 06 2017 at 03:49):
I've passed along the request. May be a bit tight for Madrid
Yunwei Wang (Apr 06 2017 at 14:51):
San Diego would be better.

If you're looking for FHIR decal stickers - how about these? https://www.redbubble.com/shop/stickers+fhir
Grahame Grieve (Apr 06 2017 at 21:44):
I like them.
Oliver Egger (Apr 07 2017 at 18:04):
i ordered a few of them for my crutches and they are quite beautified now, you can judge by yourself at the hl7 wgm in madrid
Grahame Grieve (Apr 08 2017 at 21:39):
looking forward to that
Jens Villadsen (Apr 09 2017 at 21:24):
@Oliver Egger - they looked great :D
Richard Kavanagh (Apr 13 2017 at 19:15):
Well, the stickers are no longer available. Apparently, somebody complained and even though I was granted a FHIR Licence specifically for the stickers. The somebody appears to be HL7 who are the people who created the Licence in the first place ....
Grahame Grieve (Apr 13 2017 at 21:23):
Sounds like a left hand right hand issue....
Richard Kavanagh (Apr 17 2017 at 00:00):
Hopefully all fixed now. The stickers are back online.
Grahame Grieve (Apr 17 2017 at 08:56):
thanks
Richard Kavanagh (Apr 19 2017 at 14:48):
Thanks for the agreeing the product licence for this - all sorts of products now available from https://www.redbubble.com/people/clarotechuk/collections/465180-fhir-logo
Grahame Grieve (Apr 19 2017 at 19:59):
Eat Sleep FHIR repeat - that's a good one
David Hay (Apr 20 2017 at 17:48):
"Eat Sleep FHIR repeat" - yes, I can think of a few people that would apply to :)...
Lloyd McKenzie (Apr 20 2017 at 20:04):
We need a special one for Grahame with strikethrough on "sleep" . . . :)
David Hay (Apr 20 2017 at 20:25):
