Topic: FHIR at Health Datapalooza please!
Dave deBronkart (Sep 18 2019 at 14:08):
I've just received this call for submissions for the highly visible and well-attended (and well-reported) Health Datapalooza conference next February. Will FHIR be presenting?
Grahame Grieve (Sep 18 2019 at 14:18):
Usually there are a number of people from the FHIR community at Health DataPalooza. I cannot be there
Dave deBronkart (Sep 18 2019 at 16:21):
We should be speaking- at very least there should be "They asked what patients would do with their data - here's what we found!"

Bumping this up, from a PM exchange. Deadline for proposal is Tuesday. Sept 24, like, NOW!
We REALLY should submit an application to present at Datapalooza in DC in May - is there a best way to decide how to do this, or should I just submit whatever I want for myself? Seems not optimal. http://www.magnetmail.net/actions/email_web_version.cfm?ep=us2dU8gKrdCsHZamX4RI_6TurH4M5_kV9uQGS0WuiToh64BgFm3gdGnTpmMbU2vAW9643h3Q5ZnbR5v_s5aZFBHWi-vTN5mbP9WawuawNoal-MUeghaQZDml6uCdoDEL
Anyone want to help and/or speak? Hard to imagine how much magic we might have to discuss eight months from now! What would be a good topic? Since it's a DC event, probably something related to the forthcoming Rule ...
But hey, why not something about enabling and empowering patient innovators?? Could cite whatever happened at November DevDays, and February in Sydney (where they too may be starting an Ozzie patient workgroup), and perhaps drum up more attendance at the imminent US DevDays.
