James Agnew (Jun 16 2016 at 20:20):
Congratulations!
Grahame Grieve (Jun 16 2016 at 20:22):
thx
Josh Mandel (Jun 16 2016 at 20:46):
I hope you will be autographing them at the next WGM!
Pascal Pfiffner (Jun 16 2016 at 20:55):
Sweet, congrats!! I see 2nd edition in iBooks, so assuming your contributions will find their way there as well?
Grahame Grieve (Jun 16 2016 at 20:58):
no. this is the 3rd edition - update that replaces the 2nd edition, but you know better than to expect a free update!
Grahame Grieve (Jun 16 2016 at 20:58):
Josh, sure, I'll sign any at the next WGM
Pascal Pfiffner (Jun 17 2016 at 09:49):
Ha, I didn't mean a free upgrade, just whether it'll be available via iBooks at one point as well. :)
Grahame Grieve (Jun 17 2016 at 10:01):
I hope so, but I don't know
Abbie Watson (Jun 17 2016 at 21:44):
If that's not already assigned reading for my Interoperability class this Autumn, I'm going to add it to my reading list! Any chance it has info on open-source SNOMED CT implementations?
Grahame Grieve (Jun 17 2016 at 22:10):
I don't think there are many... except for mine.
James Agnew (Jun 17 2016 at 22:13):
Next version of HAPI will support importing SCT into its terminology services for searching, expanding, etc... It's not a complete implementation (for now it only understands is-a relationships, doesn't store synonyms, etc) but that'll hopefully come with time
Michael Lawley (Jun 29 2016 at 06:18):
digitally?
Brian Postlethwaite (Jun 29 2016 at 06:21):
I don't think that Grahame will be digitally signing the ebooks @Michael Lawley ;)
Michael Lawley (Jun 29 2016 at 06:22):
@Abigail Watson not open source (sorry), but an openly acessible implementation of FHIR Terminology Services at http://ontoserver.csiro.au/stu3 that you/your class can use - very complete SNOMED CT support including multiple versions and extensions
Peter Jordan (Jun 29 2016 at 08:24):
@Michael Lawley, I notice that ontoserver is still supporting the syntax for properties on the CodeSystem $lookup operation that's in the current build spec &properties=code, display, designations
, rather than the one that you thought was correct in Montreal &property=code&property=display&property=designations
Has there been a change of mind on this?
Michael Lawley (Jul 01 2016 at 23:09):
@Peter Jordan Are you using the latest STU3 Ontoserver? http://ontoserver.csiro.au/stu3/CodeSystem/$lookup?system=http://snomed.info/sct&code=45313011000036107&property=inactive&version=http://snomed.info/sct/32506021000036107/version/20160531&property=display
