Dave deBronkart (Oct 10 2019 at 17:48):
So, how does my entry on this form not conform to what its complaint wants?

Dave deBronkart (Oct 10 2019 at 17:49):
Please don't tell me that "proper case" means it doesn't know about surnames that start with a lowercase letter. "Debronkart" would actually be wrong.
Lloyd McKenzie (Oct 10 2019 at 17:51):
I suspect it's wanting Dave de Bronkart. If that's not acceptable to you, @Joshua Procious may be able to adjust the regex to support this too.
Dave deBronkart (Oct 10 2019 at 17:56):
I changed it to wrong capitalization :-) and it accepted it. My hypothesis of its wrongness is tentatively confirmed, so fixing the regex might be cool.
Now I get this - it apparently thinks my account request is a bug or something. :-) (I'll have faith that it'll all work out.)

Good afternoon Dave, unfortunately for the domain of regex you know an administrator :) I created your account and changed it to "deBronkart" I'll update the regex for future requests.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Cheers!
Dave deBronkart (Oct 10 2019 at 18:22):
Spectacular! Thanks @Joshua Procious ... I have never encountered a system with this bit of stupidity where they didn't DENY it was possible to do it right. HL7 gets an Unusual Win banner for this.
Grahame Grieve (Oct 11 2019 at 01:47):
thanks on behalf of the team. It's hard to create a really agile organization that responds to people's requests in a timely meaningful way
