Topic: Community guidelines?
Stefan Lang (Dec 03 2016 at 14:59):
Are there any written guidelines for the FHIR community and especially for the Zulip chat?
As the number of users grows, it might be useful to have a document about the basics of how to ask a question or what to do / where to look before asking questions (as in: "Please browse through the spec"), similar to what e.g. Stackoverflow has ( http://stackoverflow.com/help/how-to-ask ).
Maybe also a newbie stream might be useful.
No disrespect intended, just a few thoughts :-)

Speaking of a growing community, searching and browsing past threads leaves something to be desired. I understand how the steam/message format might have made sense when there were only a handful of people involved; but we're quickly getting into the bulletin-board-system/forum level of usage.

can you identify any limitations that mean you can't get your desires? have you looked at http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=Chat.fhir.org_community_expectations#Search
