Hi,
I'm currently the lead data scientist trying to get data science efforts off the ground. Many of the stumbling blocks have been accessing data and lack of developer resources, of which a FHIR seems to be addressing.
I'm curious if there is anyone else who is in a similar stage?
A project I have in mind for a FHIR effort is using MyChart to message patients in response to being predicted as a NoShow in sort of a control/test experiment. I'm also looking for other ideas that seem to be low-hanging fruit.
Any suggestions most welcome!

Are you looking to generalize this or are you looking specific to Epic as your data source and backend?

I guess I should have mentioned is that I'm work for the hospital. So not looking to generalize; mostly looking at if possible and how.

You'll have better luck talking with Epic directly. THe fine details of MyChart, etc. are better understood there.
