From 8-10 am ET today, a team of leading Chinese doctors presented their latest experiences with the virus. Some is surprising and new: they're finding it's not just respiratory - some patients have (permanent?) cardiac damage or kidney damage. Regarding location tracking, one doc responded to Q&A with: "1. Diagnose. 2. Diagnose. 3. Diagnose." (IOW, to hell with location tracking - test. Find out who's got the bug.)

The nasty cases trigger a cytokine storm which generally does nasty things to organs as the immune system goes crazy, so cardiac, kidney and other organ damage isn't necessarily a surprise. But it is a reminder that clearing the virus doesn't mean that you're back to the health you started with.
