For EHR vendors, I'm curious when the medication-prescribe hook will be executed in your EHR? I assume before the prescription is sent to the pharmacy. Any specifics about this?

For Cerner, it is executed when the user selects a medication for ordering

Same with Allscripts TouchWorks... when the medication is selected.
