Stream: cds hooks
Topic: IG publication
Grahame Grieve (Aug 10 2017 at 23:47):
We (in Australia) would now like to publish an implementation Guide that profiles the order-review cds hook for our use, and profiles the resources that are passed along with the request.
Grahame Grieve (Aug 10 2017 at 23:47):
has any one done something like this, or devoted some time to what it would look like?
Grahame Grieve (Aug 10 2017 at 23:47):
is there any formal service definition that captures the definition of a cds-hook?
Brett Marquard (Aug 11 2017 at 01:29):
Latest draft we presented today is here. This should be committed to more available 'draft' soon. I don't believe there have been any recent updates to order-review nor a formal definition, although @Kevin Shekleton and @Isaac Vetter are the source.
Robert Sax (Aug 11 2017 at 17:55):
@Grahame Grieve are you looking for just the service definition from the discovery endpoint or a more detailed profile such as a Conformance/CapabilityStatement?
Grahame Grieve (Aug 11 2017 at 21:01):
in this case, we're looking for enough detail to publish an implementation guide, and at least to drive validation tooling from
Robert Sax (Aug 11 2017 at 21:23):
So I have started down the road of building cds hook service Conformance/CapabilityStatement resources for each hook that my service provides, aiming at the FHIR resource methods and fields. The intention is to help describe in better detail the data that the service uses such that callers can build integrations to it ideally without a lot of input from my company. I separately asked for a link to this within the discovery endpoint (see here).
Kevin Shekleton (Aug 18 2017 at 22:17):
@Grahame Grieve - This was on our 1.0 milestone and we intended to get this done a couple weeks ago but we missed it (see #39). I can take a pass at addressing this issue this weekend
Kevin Shekleton (Aug 18 2017 at 22:17):
@Grahame Grieve - What is your timeframe for publishing this IG?
Grahame Grieve (Aug 19 2017 at 01:27):
sometime soon... not a tight timeline
Grahame Grieve (Aug 19 2017 at 01:27):
after San Diego for sure
Kevin Shekleton (Aug 19 2017 at 12:44):
ok
